Last week I was so excited to host my daughter’s 4th birthday party and of course the theme was…UNICORNS! If you’ve got a young daughter, you know that unicorns are so IN right now and they are so fun to use as a theme for a party! I wanted this post to be a source for you to get everything that I used for Sadie’s party so that you can host your own!
The location we chose for Sadie’s party was amazing and perfect- a local Inn in Old Deerfield, the Deerfield Inn has such charm and beauty, it’s a favorite location for us to go out to eat, and a perfect venue for parties, weddings, and so much more.
As soon as Sadie said she wanted a Unicorn party, my first stop for invites was Etsy. I found the most adorable invite here, which was edited and printable within an hour! It worked out perfectly. There were so many options on the site too, definitely check that out!

Decorations were fortunately VERY easy to find with it being such a popular theme right now, so I first checked Amazon. Here are all of the links to the decorations I ordered! (the balloon garland was my favorite and SO cheap, we loved it! BUT, if you’re planning on doing one, remember that they are VERY time consuming so make sure you’re allotting enough time out to get it done.)
- Balloon Air Pump
- Ring Pops for Goodie Bags
- Balloon Arch
- Pom Pom Balls and Happy Birthday Banner
- Unicorn Dress for the Birthday Girl (great quality!)
- Unicorn Pinata
- Unicorn Balloons
- Unicorn Decorations and Masks
The Deerfield Inn provided the food for the party (and had a bar for the adults attending!). We had three different types of french fries (regular, truffle Parmesan fries and sweet potato fries- all were absolutely amazing.) We had pizzas, fruit cups, and the popcorn machine was set up as well for an additional cool prop at the party!)

I was fortunate enough to find two at-home bakers that made the cake and cupcakes, and the adorable cookies. Both of these women did an excellent job on everything and people were so impressed. Best part is, not only did it all look beautiful, they tasted even better! We did a tiered Unicorn cake, with vanilla bottom tier and carrot cake top tier. Then the cupcakes were lemon flavored. We loved them so much and my daughter was obsessed with the cake and cupcakes! Here is the link for the cake baker, and here is the link for the cookie maker! Be sure to check them out if you’re in the area. They did a phenomenal job!!

We hired the most amazing face painter ever for the party and she did a SPECTACULAR job on every single child there! The details she was able to do on the kids were absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be having Winnie from Dazzle Day Face Painters at every party from now on! I can’t say enough positive things about her and her ability to make a party amazing.

Sadie had an amazing birthday and everything turned out wonderful thanks to her amazing friends and family! If you’re in the New England area and need help with any event, be sure to message me!
